Postpartum Support

Postpartum Support

Mothercraft Ottawa’s Postpartum Support Drop-In Programs provides families with a safe and supportive environment where they can explore postpartum issues and learn coping strategies and skills. Our goal is to create a sense of community and reduce feelings of isolation.

Moms Postpartum Support Drop-ins

Our free, Moms Postpartum Support Drop-ins, which is facilitated by birth and postpartum professional Susan Martensen BDT/PDT/DONA, is the first of its kind in Ottawa. It is designed to be a relaxed, engaging and informative opportunity for women to connect and share with other women experiencing postpartum challenges. Every drop-in is adapted to meet the needs of the women present and may include discussions on various postpartum topics with handouts, referrals and resources for ongoing support. Babies under 12 months are welcome to join!

Tuesdays from 10 am to noon: 75 Waterbridge Dr. (Farley Mowat Public School- Access by the School Age Program entrance)

Wednesdays from 10 am to noon: 475 Evered Ave.
