About Mothercraft Ottawa

As a leader in early learning and care, and an innovator in parent support, Mothercraft Ottawa is here to help you and your family grow and thrive.

Our mission is to enrich the well-being of families through responsive, high quality services and we achieve this by developing innovative programs and support services.

Established in 1944, Mothercraft Ottawa is a charitable, non-profit organization that provides programs and services for parents with infants and young children. For seven decades, Mothercraft Ottawa has been helping Ottawa families through our many child and family service programs, which include comprehensive prenatal classes, perinatal support, parenting classes, workshops and drop-in play groups.

We also offer child care across the City of Ottawa, through our licensed home child care homes, two group child care centres, and two before and after school programs. We provide child care for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years and are proud to be Ottawa’s only part-time/casual child care program for babies, toddlers and preschoolers.

In an effort to accommodate the many families who come through our door, we are pleased to offer bilingual services throughout the various programs offered within our EarlyON Child and Family Centre.
